Proposal Form and Presentation Information can be submitted
in one of two ways:
1) Online (recommended): Submit your proposal online following
the link above.
2) Print out the proposal form or request a form by mail, and
send two copies of the proposal form and 8 copies of your proposal
to: Stanford Writing Center, Margaret Jacks Hall, 450 Serra
Mall, Stanford University, Stanford, CA 94305-2085.
All proposals should include the following items:
1) A Proposal Submission Form
2) An abstract: 150 words for individual presentations, 250
words for panels, roundtables, and other group proposal, including
the presentation title, format (individual presentation, panel,
roundtable discussion, or workshop), description of presentation
and purpose. Individual presentations will be grouped with similar
presentations and should be planned for no more than 15 minutes.
Panels should allow 75 minutes total.
3) A summary of how you want your presentation to appear in
the conference program: 50 words maximum including presentation
title, names of presenters, institutional affiliations, and
job titles
Notification of proposal acceptance will be sent in mid-January.
